We’re thrilled to continue our partnership with Leigh Academies Trust (LAT), one of the largest Multi-Academy Trusts (MATs) in the UK with over 30 nursery, primary, secondary and SEN schools.

A Partnership for Impact 🤝

LAT is well-known for embracing technology to enhance student learning and support teachers. Our journey with LAT began with the rollout of licences and bespoke training to onboard over 1500 teachers to the platform early this year. And now, following an internal survey of teachers’ attitudes towards Teachmate, and the positive impact it is having, we’re excited to share LAT have chosen to continue their partnership with Teachmate, making it their AI assistant of choice for their teachers and school leadership teams.

The review highlighted several key findings, including:
• A helpful AI assistant: The majority of teachers using Teachmate found it a helpful assistant to support them across their working week in a variety of tasks 🤖📝
• Quality output: The majority of teachers reported the outputs of Teachmate to be of good quality 💡
• Positive impact and desire to continue: Two thirds had seen a positive impact in during the initial trial and the vast majority wished to continue use of the platform ✅

Overcoming Challenges in Large-Scale Rollout 🏫

Rolling out new technology across 30 schools is not without its challenges! And whilst the size and diversity of LAT’s schools present unique challenges, a programme of regular virtual CPD sessions, tailored to school setting, has helped onboard teachers of various confidence levels. 👩‍🏫📚

Looking ahead, we’re excited to continue our support of LAT as we further embed the use of Teachmate as a core platform in the suite of tech tools available to LAT teachers. We plan to further promote use amongst all teachers to ensure LAT realises the full benefit of Teachmate.
