Teachmate partners with Intel® to bring Intel® Skills for Innovation (SFI) into the classroom
Teachmate is partnering with Intel® to develop a new tool designed to make it easier for teachers to embed future-ready skills into everyday lessons.
We're excited to announce a new partnership with Intel®, bringing together Teachmate's classroom-focused AI technology and the Intel® Skills for Innovation (SFI) programme.
Skills for Innovation helps educators integrate technology and future-ready skills into teaching and learning, including computational thinking, design thinking, programming, coding and data science.
The program offers educators access to ready-made, plug-and-play lesson resources referred to as Starter Packs, as well as Professional Development courses that empower teachers to confidently adopt new technologies, transform learning experiences, and facilitate skill-building in the classroom.
Making innovative skills more accessible for teachers
As part of the partnership, we're developing a new Intel® Skills for Innovation Planner within Teachmate.
Teachers will be able to start with what they're already teaching and explore practical ways to embed Intel® SFI resources into their lessons, making it easier to introduce these skills without completely rethinking their existing curriculum.
The new planner will join 160+ curriculum-aligned AI tools available through Teachmate, a platform built specifically for education and already used by more than 420,000 teachers worldwide.
From our brand new Slideshow Generator, which helps teachers create fully customisable lesson slides with school-safe imagery, to worksheet creation, lesson planning, report writing, adapting resources for SEND and tools for school leadership, Teachmate is designed to support teachers across every part of school life.
By bringing Intel® Skills for Innovation into this existing ecosystem, we're making it easier for teachers to explore future-ready skills alongside the tools they already use to support their everyday teaching.
